Hey, my names Emma, and I’m the MYP for South Northants. Despite going on holiday, getting results and just being lazy, I have actually done stuff over the summer for UKYP. My campaign for South Northants is transport; anyone who lives there will know how bad it is! At the moment I’m in the early stages, just doing questionnaires to get information. But once I’ve got your views I can focus on the issues you find most important and take them directly to the council and bus companies. So if you have time, please fill a questionnaire to help me. I’m Chris Monk and I am a deputy member of the UK youth parliament. I represent Kettering and the surrounding area. As one of your representatives on the UK youth parliament, I feel that my job is to find out what you want, as young people, and to try and get it for you. I can do this through campaigning at a local and a national level and by talking to the people who make the decisions.
